Breakfast is included - everything is made from scratch in our kitchen.

Because everyone has a different idea of what they prefer we have a menu from which you can combine items to create your own breakfast...
Some examples of foods we offer:

Eggs (omelets or cooked to order - scrambled, fried, etc), yogurt & cheese made in our kitchen with milk from cows that live up the hill, homemade granola, our own whole wheat bread baked on the fire, pancakes, crepes with fruit filling, ometepe grown beans cooked with southwestern spices, honey harvested from bees in Balgue, fresh fruit (from local sources whenever possible), home roasted coffee grown organically by our neighbors, tea (black and herbal).

**Please let us know if you have any special dietary needs when you make your reservation**
We are happy to accommodate vegetarians, vegans, gluten free, etc.

We do not offer lunch and dinner, however there are 6 restaurants within a 15-20 minute walk (or 5 minute bus ride) and many more within a 30 minute walk offering a nice range of food including curries, stirfry, pastas, wood fired pizzas, meat/chicken or fish dishes, and of course local cuisine.

Many of the places that you might visit during the day on activities also have restaurants on the premises or nearby where you can have lunch.

Ordering In:
If you would like to stay in for dinner we can arrange delivery service from a number of the nearby restaurants.  This is a great option for your arrival night if you plan to get here late (we are happy to set this up with you ahead of time via email).

Packed Lunches for Volcano Climbs:
A nearby restaurant, Cafe Campestre, offers lots of great sandwich choices which you can either pick up at the restaurant or have delivered to the B&B.

Our water comes from a natural spring on the volcano and is potable out of the tap.

Other Drinks:
There is a fridge in the common area stocked with sodas, Nicaraguan beer (Victoria & Tona), Nicaraguan Flor de Cana rum aged 7 years.  All drinks come in returnable glass bottles.
